ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Prairie State Middle School Concert Band Festival is proud to be an Affiliate Regional Music Festival with Music for All.
The 2025 Festival dates are Friday & Saturday, April 11-12, 2025.
The Prairie State Festival has been designed from the ground up to be an outstanding performance experience and an exemplary learning opportunity for middle school bands.
Each performing ensemble receives:
- 30-minute performance slot
- 30-minute clinic for the winds with a nationally-recognized music educator
- 30-minute clinic for the percussion with a nationally-recognized music educator
- high-quality audio recording of the performance
- recorded comments from three winds evaluators
- recorded comments from a percussion evaluator
